Forse Race

NFT-blockchain racing game

Forse Race is a decentralized blockchain-based racing platform that joins thousands of online gamers in a community where they can buy and breed NFT Forses, which can compete in races against other Forses for profit.

What is a Forse? It's like a racehorse, but with magical forces. During the race, they can cast spells against other Forses to slow their progress, or use magical powers to defend themselves, or boost their speed.

Like real-life racehorses, Forses have different traits that define their rarity, performance, and ultimately value. They are 100% one of the kind. A Forse is a valuable asset that allows you to participate in races and earn payouts.

We use NFT technology to create and differentiate every Forse in the game. Forses are stored as NFT tokens. Forses can be bought in our NFT marketplace, or created through breeding.

A player can only own 1 race-able Forse at a time. The game has a population cap of 6000 race-able Forse NFTs. Each Forse has a lifetime of 10 races, which it automatically runs approximately once per week, after which it retires for 60 days, before expiring forever. During its retirement phase, it is eligible for breeding. Each Forse can breed only once, and each union always results in fraternal twins; one for each owner. Using Genetic Algorithms, some random chance, and a little but of luck, the parents' attributes can be inherited by the offspring, and new traits can be acquired through mutation.

If a Forse expires without creating offspring, then a new Immaculate Forse will be generated and sold on the Marketplace at auction. The cost of breeding should always be less than the current value of a new NFT at auction, and is relative to the lifetime earnings of the other player's Forse.

Every NFT Forse's data is visible to the public. Users can inspect Forse appearance, race history, bloodline, performance stats, and magic powers. Family trees allow users to navigate through Forse ancestry.

Magical powers also give the Forse physical characteristics. They have element types: fire, earth, ice, lightning, or air, as well as a power rating, and a cooldown time. All Forses have at least one power, but could possibly have up to 4, one for each body part: horn, wings, hooves, and tail. Powers can have a big impact on the outcome of a race. Powers are assigned at birth, and can be inherited from their parents, or gained through random mutation.

Forses have an inheritable Forsepower stat that affects their acceleration speed. There is also a stat for Luck, which can not be inherited. Luck can affect everything about a Forses' life, including the other stats and powers that it is born with, racing outcomes, and offspring. It is assigned entirely at random at birth, and is unlikely to have a high value. Very Lucky Forses are considered rare and valuable.

Forse Genetic Data

1. Forsepower

    Affects acceleration

2. Luck (not inheritable)

    Date and time of creation

    Affects retirement and expiration dates

4. Identifier

    Displayed as the Forse’s name

5. Colors

    Randomly generated for the body, hair, wings, eyes, etc…

6. Parent Identifiers

    Used to track ancestry data

7. Spells

Races

Races are an excellent opportunity for players to earn profit from their NFT Forses. Each race has 10 Forses, with prizes going to the top 3. Each race is centrally simulated by Unity's physics engine on a closed server, and then live-streamed to the world via YouTube. The outcome is impossible to predict due to the complex nature of the physics mechanic, the dynamic range of the Forses' magical powers, and their power's ability to hinder or help any Forse at any time. While a powerful Forse certainly has a good chance of winning, it can also (for example) be frozen by an ice spell right before the finish line by a Forse with only one power, which means any Forse can potentially win a race.

Compete against friends for real world profit, selectively breed to produce valuable offspring, and witness exciting races in real time. Our goal is to give players control and stake in an economy that can realize real world gains while creating a sense of community and fun in the game world.

Forse Token (FRS)

FRS Tokens will be given as rewards for racing and interacting with the community.  FRS will be the primary token for staking and voting. FRS will be located on Polygon Layer 2 Chain.

A Forse (FRS) is a type of Governance Token used for the majority of transactions in the world of Forse Race.  Using these tokens, players will be able to exchange and breed Forses on the Forse Race Marketplace website.

The prize pool for the races is fed by the Marketplace transactions. The cost of buying a new NFT, or Breeding a new NFT feeds the prize pool, with a small tax going to the developer.

Probability Model

Each Forse has a unique set of stats that will affect its chances of winning a race. However, in order to calculate our probability model, we assume that all Forses are equal. Each race has 10 Forse entries, which means each Forse has a 10% chance of finishing the race in any place. Since each Forse races 10 times during its lifetime, we can say that over a long period of time, Forses on average will win a 1st place, a 2nd place, and a 3rd place one time each.

Expected Value

The initial pool of NFTs when released on the Marketplace will have a range of values depending on the stats of each Forse, and the prize pool for each race will be fed by the sale of these NFTs. Afterwards, the pool will be fed by breeding costs, and auctioning new Forses. Given an average value of A for an NFT (buying or breeding), and a developer cut of 1%, we can calculate the prize pool like so:

    Prize Pool Per Race = A - 1% = 0.99 * A

We can then distribute the prizes as:

    1st = 0.6 * A

    2nd = 0.3 * A

    3rd = 0.09 * A

    4th - 10th = 0

Then the average return per player would be 0.99 * A, with a possible range of 6 * A if their Forse were to win 1st place every race, to 0, if they never place in the top 3.

Each player can potentially earn 6X their investment in 10 weeks.
